Tommy had launched its TikTok channel but hadn’t quite introduced itself to the primarily Gen Z audience in a way that was native to platform.

So in order to build relevant presence on TikTok, we looked into what people were already saying about the brand to uncover an engagement opportunity. We discovered Gen Z was talking about Tommy Hilfiger (the man) in the past tense and that TikTok’s own text-to-voice tool mispronounced his name.

We leaned into these insights and created a uniquely TikTok reintroduction: Casting Mr. Hilfiger himself as the brand’s spokesperson, recorrecting the platform’s text-to-voice.

The post received 3.9M views, 254K likes, and 1.1K comments (and counting), making it their highest performing organic piece of content to date.

To build the connection between Andy Warhol and Tommy Hilfiger during FW22 NYFW, Bright Colors set out to capture a conversation conducted by Tommy Hilfiger and DJ, designer and director, Vashtie Kola, as they discuss the ways Andy Warhol inspired Tommy.

The video highlighted intimate and nuanced moments between the two, allowing our audience to truly get a sense of who Tommy is and join him in his taxi journey, as well as the journey throughout his life, career and influences.
